I have never smelled the original formulation, so I can only go off the new one. This is a unique scent and I have never come across anything like it. It has a tart fruity top note, but this fades fairly quickly, and it it not bad anyway. After the top notes fade, it becomes sweet and the white chocolate and cupcake come through, and it finally mellows out into a sweet scent with a subtle muskiness to it. The performance on Fantasy is surprisingly good, especially for a celebrity perfume. It lasts upwards of 7 hours, and it has pretty good projection.

I love them both, but I will only be re-buying Island Fantasy.
