"Definitely a party girl scent. It reminds me of the late 00s. Its sort of slutty, sultry and also trashy. It balances the vibe of both classy and trashy quite well. Its peppery, really peppery but there is a smooth vanilla that cuts through along with a coffee element which is intoxicating. I dont love it but I like it enough to want to wear it. Its definitely a clubbing scent. And its pretty safe. Very common though."

"Elizabeth Arden My Fifth Avenue is a floral perfume. Longevity and projection are average. I owned J'adore and all the flankers. This smells exactly like a budget J'adore to me, without the fruit or melon notes. Given that I've swapped all of my J'adore for other things, I can't say I'm a fan of this either. I much prefer the original Fifth Avenue, but I'm very glad to have a chance to sample this for myself."

"Eternity is quite a neutral scent in my opinion. It's nice and I like it but it lacks the special something that would make me wanna grab it often. I'm kind of torn on the longevity; I smelled it a few hours ago and couldn't smell anything but now I smelled again and I can smell a little of it. Sillage is moderate but not super strong, which I like. I would consider it unisex, it's kind of feminine but I'm sure a man could pull it off too.

"Like so many other reviewers, I absolutely LOVED this fragrance in the late 90s! Like so much that I bought fake dupe oils of it on the street before I could afford a bottle. There was just something it that pulled people in. It absolutely screamed “romance.” I remember wearing it so much that I was just done with it, and I feel like that about so many of my first perfumes, unfortunately (except for JPG Classique, which I didn’t wear much of back but fell in love with recently). "This one starts with a very beautiful opening, a spring blooming garden, amazing magnolia scent, the scent you get sitting under a magnolia tree. The honeysuckle note is also very realistic.
But then, same thing happened to me...the dry down. Something like sweet rose sorbet, dirt, dust, old furniture. I wouldn't blame patchouli for that, because it is almost undetectable. Maybe the rosewood note that I've seen listed.
They could have been done this intentionally, trying to express the scent of "air", which can obviously smell of dust. Metaphorically speaking, the fragrance reminds me of Persephone, the Greek goddess that lived half a year in the sunlight, and the other half underground.
The shift between the opening and the drydown is incredible (and I mean that in a bad way). If it weren't for the beautiful opening, I'd suspect a bad batch or something.

I liked to wear this on summer days at home to keep me freshened all day long."

"This was my first "expensive" perfume I ever purchased. I felt a little dangerous one day after work and spend all my tips on this. The Macy's Lady knew exactly what I would LOVE! It was nothing I have ever smelled before, so effortless & airy. This is the most perfect rose perfume... the cedar, lily & magnolia makes it clean in a way. I agree with most peoplel that this is expensive shampoo vibe. One of my most complimented fragrance. Femininity in a bottle!
