Best Jasmine Perfume – 13 Aromas That Smell Exquisite!

Aerin Ikat Jasmine

The fragrant breeze of spring is upon us! And with it comes the time to celebrate all that we love about this season. The best way I know how to do so is by letting your nose lead you through a tour of eleven extraordinary jasmine scents - some old favorites and some new releases from our favorite brands - some of the best jasmine perfumes.

The jasmine flower belongs to the family of jasmine-scented plants commonly found in different parts of the world. It is a plant that comes in a variety of over 200 species. Many come from places that are tropical or subtropical along the Pacific and the Indian Ocean.

Jasmine Jasminum grandiflorum originated in Asia, but now it also grows abundantly in Europe - particularly in France.

Moreover, since the smell of this flower is so strong and has a fantastic ability to linger for hours, it is mainly used by many designers for their unique blends of scented oils, especially during the spring season when these plants bloom very beautifully.

Modern fragrances contain many different varieties of the Jasmine Jasminum grandiflorum plant cultivated explicitly for their floral aroma.

What Does Jasmine Smell Like?

The smell is intensely sensual, rich, and delightful. In Hindu and Muslim traditions, it is considered a scent of love. It lowers emotional boundaries and increases intimacy.

The plant oil is commonly prescribed for relaxation in aromatherapy. Some describe the beautiful scent of jasmine as exogenous and intense, and it is also considered an aphrodisiac.

Our List Of The 13 Best Jasmine Fragrances For Women

Best Jasmine Fragrance For Ladies -  Ikat Jasmine EDP

 Aerin Ikat Jasmine

Aerin Ikat Jasmine

Ikat Jasmine by Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of Estee Lauder, founded her lifestyle brand in 2011. Ikat is a Floral fragrance for women.

Ikat is an enjoyable fragrance - part floral with an element of fruity notes. The heart of this fragrance is built around the jasmine note and the floral tones of jasmine Egypt infusion.

The aroma is enriched with tuberose fleur, honeysuckle, tuberose infusion, and sandalwood. One of the best jasmine scented perfumes, Ikat is exquisite, velvety, and fresh, an excellent choice for jasmine perfumes lovers.

Ikat Jasmine by Aerin Lauder is giving me glamour girl vibes! Jasmine can sometimes be quite screechy but Ikat Jasmine is giving this potent princess a whole new note to sing and it’s lovely! It smells very clean and is mellowed out but the honeysuckle which is another floral Aerin Lauder does well in my opinion. The tuberose is being it’s creamy white floral self. I do not pick up on the sandalwood or ambroxan but that’s okay, I’m sure they are there somewhere playing supporting act. I smelled this on a whim expecting not to like it and was very surprised when I really did. I sprayed in on my arm as I left the store and 6 hours later I ordered a bottle, it’s fabulous!

Excellent Value: Burberry London Eau de Parfum

 BURBERRY London EDP

Burberry London EDP

Burberry London Eau de Parfum is a lovely choice from the house of Burberry. Burberry London opens with a burst of tangerine mixed with some sweet honeysuckle. Hints of peony and rose hide in the background, while jasmine blossoms beside honeysuckle with a citrus undertone. This fragrance starts with citrus fruitiness before evolving into a creamy, sandalwood-spicy scent.

Anyone should use this intimate jasmine scent as part of their most feminine moments.

This is actually a very elegant, classy, white floral, sweet and citrusy, ever so woody fragrance, in the opening, as it touches my skin, I mainly get the tangerine, it is very strong, there is something about it that smells lightly of peach blended in the opening with the tangerine, the honeysuckle is also distinguishable then. As an hour or two go by, i can mainly smell the clementine mixing with all of the previous notes, as well as a faint jasmin and tiaré flower, in the drydown, 4 to 5 hours later, the jasmin is more noticable as well as the sandalwood, it becomes less citrusy and more sweet white floral mixed with musk. Good lasting power, you smell like a flower, as it blooms in the morning and closes at night. Likeable and sexy, sweet, and not overpowering, you won´t scare anyone off with this fragrance. Great for spring and elegant enough for winter.
Notes:

Clementine, Honeysuckle, English garden rose, Tiare flower, Jasmine, Peony, Musks, Indian sandalwood, Patchouli.

Best Deluxe Perfume For Her Byredo Flowerhead EDP

Deluxe: Byredo Flowerhead Eau de Parfum

Byredo Flowerhead EDP

The scent from Byredo Eau de Parfum Flowerhead is reminiscent of a summer's day full of flowers, the perfect time to celebrate.

This Byredo Flowerhead has all the whimsical notes of an idyllic spring day in its fragrance; it's bursting with bright and wonderfully sweet scents that will fill your senses.

Imagine being surrounded by the lush and exquisitely fragrant flowers and leaves as you wander through a garden. As you breathe in deeply, you will come face-to-face with the myriad delicious scents around you. The heady aroma can't help but put you in the mood to celebrate!

There is a hint of jasmine and a full-bodied rose in its composition. I found it to be a scent made for feasting and nights of dancing in fabulous clothes. This scent blends well with the body, is long-lasting, and is not too strong. Breathtaking and elegant, Flowerhead is for those who know life’s pleasures on warm summer nights.

The fragrance opens with notes are angelica, lingonberry, and Sicilian lemon. The heart consists of jasmine Sambac, tuberose, and rose petals. The base brings forth ambergris and suede. The result is not only pleasing to your nose but also sophisticated enough for any occasion imaginable.

Many critics have called Byredo Flowerhead "a timeless fragrance" of the Jasmine perfumes world; it will be your signature scent forever.

I'm in LOVE with this fragrance and I enjoy wearing it! It opens beautifully with the floral and citus notes coming in strong. Go easy on the atomizer because this scent is no joke, it will fill a room if you're not careful. One spray several hours ago and I can still smell it. If you are a guy and into florals with a youthful quality, definitely try this one. Do not blind buy - get a sample first. Appropriate for the warmer months. It could be worn casual or formal. If you work in an office or close quarters be very careful that you don't spray heavy. Like I alluded to previously, the projection is beastly and you don't want to overwhelm. I'm proud to add Flowerhead to my collection. Love it!

Byredo Inflorescence Eau De Parfum

Jasmine Perfumes - Byredo Inflorescence Eau De Parfum

Byredo Inflorescence EDP

Byredo Inflorescence EDP is like a newly cut bouquet that has been freshly and beautifully arranged; flowery scents of jasmine, freesia, and lily-of-the-valley are all inviting in their ways.

The lily-of-the-valley is bright and luminous, which gives a perfect day in spring an otherworldly beauty. Inflorescence is feminine from beginning to end, full of renewal, hope, and joy.

Green & fresh white floral. There's a fleeting sweetness in the opening that vanishes quickly and what I'm left with is a vastly green white floral interpretation. The greenness reminds me of fresh plant stems. It's a soft white floral but its main feature is that stem-like greenness. It's cold, not sweet (except partially in its opening), it's tart, and it's also a tad bit soapy. As much as I wanted to like it, something about this scent is slightly offensive to my olfactory. It smells unnatural, like overpowering dryer sheets or a concentrated springtime-scent detergent. For that, I wouldn't recommend as a blind-buy. I'd have a hard time going a day wearing or smelling this but the beauty of scent experiences is they can and will differ from person to person.

Best Jasmine Eau de Toilette - Diptyque Olene EDT

Diptyque Olene EDT with best jasmine smell

Edit your caption text here

The mysterious Venetian gardens inspired Diptyque’s Olene scent. A Venetian garden is a place of serenity, beauty, and peace. In the evening, under the pergolas, there are sweet fragrances of wisteria and jasmine scent or sometimes honeysuckle - just as delicate. It's a place where you can relax and take in the beauty around you.

Wow, this is STUNNING!
A great fresh, sweet, green *blooming* jasmine perfume.
I absolutely adore jasmine, and have zero problems when I smell a fragrance that's basically a straight-up jasmine perfume. The added wisteria here makes it more pretty and sweet, though.
This is more of a day-time jasmine scent. This is sunny, gentle breeze, Sunday picnic imagery. A rich, pretty, shy woman might wear this wearing a light, cotton white dress. Romantic and coquettish.
I feel this is similar to the "Jennifer Aniston" EDP which - to me - is more subtle, and more of an evening jasmine. Both I LOVE.
"Olene" is simple, but perfect.
Well DONE, Diptyque. My favourite of theirs. 🙂

DS & Durga Eau De Parfum -  Jazmin Yucatan

Durga 50ml Eau De Parfum Jazmin Yucatan, this scent smells great

DS & Durga EDP Jazmin Yucatan

Jazmin Yucatan, Fragrances are one of the most important aspects of a woman's life. They create an olfactory map that can lead you back to places and people. This delicate floral scent takes you on a journey into the Yucatan peninsula.

One of those places is in the heart of the Mexican jungle with its unique flora and the world’s most endangered plant species. Maya gardeners cultivate some three thousand types of flowers, each with its therapeutic properties to create this inspired scent. A gentle scent made for modern-day women who want to feel pampered.

Jazmín Yucatan was really bizarre on me. Well-blended, it was difficult to make out any particular notes. I really never noticed any jasmine, and I assumed I would get lots of jasmine based on the name. It started out slightly floral. I guess you could say there were aquatic notes...but it's not melony or anything...and had I not seen the notes I would never have guessed this was supposed to have anything aquatic about it. Over time, much to my confusion, it became increasingly powdery and a bit sweet. A few hours in, it was still going strong, but it just smelled weird, and a little like diaper wipes, in a way that just didn't do anything for me. I love copal. I have the resin. I did not smell copal in this perfume. I appreciate this one, like I do all DS&D frags, one of my very favorite houses, but this particular fragrance is a pass for me.

Best Jasmine Perfume For 2020

Frederic Malle Le Parfum de Therese

Le Parfum de Therese, best jasmine perfume of Frederic Malle

Frederic Malle Therese

Malle Therese has great floral scents. In addition, it has a jasmine scent with a fantastic bouquet of white florals.

The top notes are melon and tangerine. These give a clean and fresh feeling while also a sparkling aroma similar to new orange blossom or lemons. The heart notes are composed of plum and rose. Therese has a light floral scent with slight woody notes. Additions like melon, cucumber, and prune make this jasmine perfume completely unusual.

Le Parfum de Therese can be a little too sweet for some people's tastes. It has been reviewed by many as "warm.” This perfume smells lovely when you wear it on a warm summer night.

Le Parfum de Therese Frederic Malle WOW! WOW! WOW! Unique, nothing like it in my collection. I love it for not only this reason but it smells great. The melon note is beautifully and seductively produced. This fragrance is so well put together. It was a blind buy that turned out a winning favourite of mine. I thought if a guy designed it specifically for his wife and she loved it and continued wearing it, it must be good. I’m going to really enjoy wearing it.

Best Jasmine Parfum For Her

Jasmin Fauve by Ex Nihilo EDP

Jasmin Fauve Eau de Parfum

Jasmin Fauve EDP

In Jasmin Fauve - an olfactory explosion like no other! The name of this fragrance derives from its blend of heady jasmine and deep, rich leather accord that creates the decadent aura of a forbidden love story shared in secret between two rebels.

Jasmin Fauve is for those who take risks in their lives and in the way they live them; for those who are courageous enough to create their convention; for those who know what true beauty is. Jasmin Fauve is a sensual and empowering jasmine perfume.

It's a very beautiful white floral, a heady one where one can smell lily, jasmine and tuberose mostly. The final result translates to me as some other gardenia fragrances, slightly powdery, slightly soapy. Borderline retro-smelling.
Yes, it does remind Narcotic V., but less "narcotic" and it also reminds me of a less tropical, less sun-tanned Lys 41.
It's very well balanced, but I prefer the other fragrances mentioned. I don't smell the leather note.

White Jasmine & Mint Jo Malone

jo maloae

White Jasmine & Mint Jo Malone London

Jo Malone's mint and heirloom jasmine - they are the scent of an English garden at dawn, where dewy trees hide behind a blanket of tiny white flowers.

The tangy green-tipped mint helps to maintain crispness and offers a fresh jasmine bloom’s smell to Jo Malone fragrance.

Fragrance houses have adopted softer, more feminine themes like those by Jo Malone.

Consider the scent of jasmine perfumes to be like waking up on a sunny morning surrounded by a combination of white florals. Think of orange blossom, jasmine bush in full bloom, and roses when you think of this fragrance.

I bought it online and I expected something fresh and clean. On my skin it becomes a terrible liquoricy, dry, ashy scent reminding me burnt rubber (cardamom maybe) . So, today I tried it with Accordo Viola from Erbolario, too sweet and powdery for my nose. And BOOM magic happens, together they have an intense spicy, airy, interesting new perfume.
I suggest you to try it with something powdery and sweet, could be a strange winning idea. Also, I can smell mint finally.

Michael Kors Glam Eau De Parfum

Michael Kors Glam Jasmine Eau de Parfum

Michael Kors Glam Jasmine EDP

Michael Kors Glam Jasmine Eau de Parfum is an uncomplicated perfume - it has only three notes: blackcurrant, rich notes of jasmine, and sandalwood.

Glam Jasmine is a good jasmine perfume for your first time wearing a jasmine fragrance or for those who like uncomplicated scents. With those three notes, it means you'll never get "jammed" by its strong aroma.

Michael Kors Jasmine is versatile and can be worn day or night, with casual clothes or fancy ones. It is an excellent option for those who are new to this scent.

This fragrance is very aptly named. This is a heavy jasmine scent, with a green opening from the cassis, like you're smelling the stems up through the flowers. The blend is pretty and expensive smelling, while remaining true to the clean jasmine scent. If you like jasmine, this lovely will leave you feeling like you belong on a red carpet in a ball gown. If you don't like clean jasmine, don't bother trying this one. Go light on the sprays as this is quite concentrated.

Perfume With Amber And Jasmine - Jasmin Rouge EDP

Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge EDP one of the best Jasmine perfumes

Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge

Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge is a fruity floral fragrance for women. It has a light and clean smell which lasts throughout the entire day.

The opening starts with top notes that are of bergamot, pink pepper, and orange blossom. The middle notes are jasmine Sambac, clary sage, neroli, ylang ylang notes, and white flowers. In this fragrance you find the answer to what does Bergamot smell like. The ylang ylang gives a powderiness to the perfume. The base note is amber and vanilla that adds sweetness and smells luxurious.

This jasmine perfume can be worn anytime but goes well with a day or nighttime event. Tom Ford is recommended for people who want a "younger" smell.

One of my favorites from Tom Ford because it feels unique to me with the strong Jasmine but balanced with the vanilla. I bought the EDT and it did t last as long so got the EDP and it’s much longer wearing. I love this one so much that I don’t mind having both because I wear it often.

The Jasmine is the main player but it has a creaminess to it that gives it warmth. It has a touch of spice my base that peeks through. It’s a very sophisticated scent that works for day or night IMO.

It smells luxurious without being stuffy or overdone. Definitely in my top 3 from Tom Ford (my other faves are Tobacco Vanille and Santal Blush)
Top Notes:

A Few More Beautiful Scents To Choose From

Trish McEvoy Eau de Parfum

Trish McEvoy Eau de Parfum

Trish McEvoy launched Precious Pink Jasmine in 2012. According to Trish McEvoy, Precious Pink Jasmine is an enticing and feminine scent for women that possesses a blend of quince, apple blossom, Mandarin orange and nectarine at its heart. This fragrance features lovely notes of pink jasmine, magnolia and neroli at the base while it wraps up this fragrance with warm notes of amber, white musk and cashmere wood.

Beautiful and Sweet, got this as a sample at the Nordstrom Fall Trend Show in Oct 2012. It was featured during the show and they had sprayed it on the mini runway, i loved the light sweet smell. Not an overpowering fragrance but light upon dry down, sillage is 4 hours with a light lingering for yourself up to 8 hours. Then again my body chemistry does not mix well with many fragrances and this one does, figures it would be pricey....
Fragonard Le jardin Jasmin-Perle de the EdP, one of the excusit great jasmine perfumes

Fragonard Le jardin Jasmin-Perle de the EDP

Jasmin Perle de Thé by Fragonard is a Floral scent for women, released in 2013. It features notes of Lemon and Bergamot, Green Tea and Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Thuja and Amber with the base of Guaiac Wood.

In 2013, French fashion house Fragonard launched a collection of fragrances.

Perle de Thé [Tea Pearl] represents the idea of wanting to escape to a faraway garden where we can relax and enjoy the scent of jasmine tea blossoms.

It's an enchanting fragrance with powerful undertones that are at once feminine, sensual & attracting.

Initial blast delights the senses - fresh, citrusy, feminine. The citrus only sticks around for a few seconds. Then you get a beautiful, clean white floral with plenty of honeysuckle. It's incredibly realistic, as if I'm sniffing real honeysuckle! I'm transported to my dad's backyard...he used to have honeysuckle and I LOVED the way it smelled. I find this floral mix to be delicate and feminine. I love this despite not being into floral-dominant perfumes.

It takes a few minutes to detect the tea, but when it does wake up, it's a lovely addition to the mix and tempers the florals beautifully.

I would wear this in spring/summer but probably not fall/winter unless I were trying to purposefully evoke a spring vibe around me. I don't understand the graph showing that some people think this is unisex...this is very feminine.

Not heavy - if you want others to smell it on you you will probably need to administer a few extra sprays.

This is a really lovely fragrance! I will buy again!!
Floris London Night Scented Jasmine - top of Jasmine perfumes

Floris Night Scented Jasmine

Night Scented Jasmine by Floris is a floral green fragrance for women that was launched in 2006.

It features scents of green, violet leaf, and mandarin orange alongside neroli and citrus notes. Notes of jasmine, lily and narcissus blend with magnolia, gardenia, mimosa and rose resting on a base of sandalwood, vetiver and amber resting on a base of musk.

I love jasmine and wear it well. This does not disappoint. The fragrance started out very sparkly and lively green with a fresh citrus boost and a hit of pepper for heat. The floral notes them developed and I first noted violet.
I think the violet is tempered very well with the jasmine which crept up alongside of the violet. They seem to playfully take turns dominating the floral notes of the perfume. Violet is one of those notes that on its own can be somewhat sickly to me. Combined here with a stronger, deeper, muskier base, it works seamlessly and beautifully. It sparkles and tantalizes.
I find this scent quite heady and intoxicating like the first couple of sips of champagne. It's simple and clean without any jarring surprises. Definitely not one of the more advant-guarde niche fragrances, but it hold its own and if you love jasmine, definitely worth the experience.
